Things worth remembering.
I make films, images and personal projects to hold onto what a moment felt like—not just what it looked like.
Currently building Cornerstone — an ongoing personal film series by nathancrs. These are some of the tools I use along the way.

nathancrs is the personal creative archive of Nathan—films, photographs, travel journals and experiments shaped by memory, curiosity, and the urge to make something out of being there.

I like making things that help me remember what being there felt like.

The Projects

WHAT SHAPES THE WORK
I’m drawn to the things that are easy to forget — how a place felt, what a moment meant, and the small details that somehow stay with us.

A NOTE FROM NATHAN

The idea decides what it becomes — a film, a photograph, a trip, or something I haven’t tried before. I’m more interested in following it honestly than forcing it into one medium.
Most projects begin with a camera, a place, a half-formed idea, and far too many open tabs. The tools change, but the goal is always the same: make something that feels worth keeping.
Cameras, movement, sound, and editing — usually where an idea becomes real.
Frames I want to keep, whether they become part of a project or remain on their own.
Places are often part of the process, not just the background.

FROM IDEA TO SOMETHING REAL

Most things start as a feeling, a question, or a place I can’t stop thinking about.

There isn’t one fixed formula. I follow the idea, let the medium change when it needs to, and stop when the work finally feels like itself.

A few things
you might be
wondering.
What exactly is nathancrs?
nathancrs is my personal creative space — part portfolio, part archive, part ongoing experiment. It’s where I bring together films, photographs, travel journals, ideas, and whatever I feel curious enough to make next.
